Nucleus Q4 net up by 15 per cent

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Nucleus Software Exports Limited posted net profit of Rs 16.02 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008, an increase of 14.84 per cent over Rs 13.95 crore registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Revenue for the quarter increased to Rs 78.06 crore, up by 29.75 per cent over Rs 60.16 crore recorded in the year ago quarter.

For the year ended March 31, 2008, net profit after tax was at Rs 61.74 crore, an increase of 11.95 per cent when compared to Rs 55.15 crore posted in the previous year.

Revenue during the year stood at Rs 288.72 crore, a growth of 30.53 per cent when compared to Rs 221.19 crore in the previous year.

The company’s global strength as on March 31, 2008 was 1936. “Our vision, mission and focus to invest in IPR led growth continue to create an excellent value proposition for our customers. Our product led strategy is giving consistent results with 24 significant product wins in FY 2008,” said Vishnu R. Dusad, CEO and managing director.

Nucleus bagged 24 new orders for implementing 64 product modules of the FinnOne Suite in the year 2007-2008. For the quarter, Nucleus has won eight new product orders for implementing 18 modules of FinnOne and Cash Management Suite.
