Now you can share photos to Twitter via SMS

BANGALORE, INDIA: In an attempt to woo its growing community, online social networking and microblogging service provider, Twitter has announced a new feature for sharing photos through SMS or text message.

Twitter text messaging service available in 80 countries and in nine languages send and receives nearly four billion SMS messages every month.

"Starting today, you can share photos on Twitter by including a photo in your text message," said Twitter in blog post.

Twitter users can attach a photo to their text messages and share it on Twitter.

"This feature is currently available with AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Cellular South in the US; Vodafone, O2 and Orange in the UK; Vodafone Italy; Rogers Communications in Canada; VIVA Bahrain; and, TIM Brazil," added the blog post.

The company further added that, it will continue to work with more carriers to enable their customers to share photos via text message.
