Now book TaxiForSure cabs through Ola app

NEW DELHI, INDIA: TaxiForSure which was acquired by Ola in March this year for $200 million has announced that its customers can book a TaxiForSure hatchback directly from the Ola app.

Starting today, the TaxiForSure Hatchback (TFS Hatchback) will appear as a new category on the Ola app, and customers can book it the same way they book now.  This will go live in Delhi and Mumbai to begin with and to other cities in a phased manner over the next few weeks.

While Ola customers can now get access to additional cabs from the TFS platform, drivers on the TFS platform can serve more customers straight from the Ola platform.

How to book and track:

Customers can book a TaxiForSure (TFS) hatchback cab on Ola’s app by clicking on the TFS icon that will appear as a new category. Customers can book a TaxiForSure cab only through the ‘Ride Now’ option. Once the ride is booked, they can track and see the movement of the cab to the pickup location on the Ola app in real-time.

Customers will also get information such as the cab and driver details on booking. They will be able to share a link over SMS with friends and family for them to track the location of their cab in real-time straight from the Ola app. All TFS registered users, who book a TFS hatchback cab on the Ola app can track their booking on the TFS app as well. The TaxiForSure’s ‘Inform A Friend’ feature will also be available to the TFS registered users.

Fares and invoice:

All TaxiForSure rides booked through the Ola app will have to be paid for in cash only. Once the ride is completed, an automated invoice from TaxiForSure will be emailed to the customer. Standard TaxiForSure fares are applicable on all hatchback rides made through the Ola app.
