MUMBAI: Infotech firm Wipro Ltd. refused to comment on a newspaper report
that it has filed documents with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)
for floating an issue of American Depositary Receipts (ADR).
"We have no comments to offer," said Wipro corporate executive vice
president-finance Suresh C Senapaty.
The Business Standard reported on Thursday that Wipro has filed documents
with the SEC for raising between $200-$300 million through an ADR issue in
September this year.
Wipro shares were down Rs 30.15 at Rs 3,140 on the Bombay Stock Exchange in
late morning trade.
