Polycom RPXT HD telepresence solution delivers life-like remote meeting experience to executives in any organisation

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Polycom Inc, provider of unified collaborative communications solutions, today announced the launch in India of RealPresence Experience High Definition (RPX HD), telepresence solution.

Polycom RPX HD solutions is an all-inclusive suite that comes fully equipped with all the furnishings, studio lighting, acoustic cloud and walls and electronics required for telepresence.

"Today's business environment is more distributed than ever, with approximately 90 per cent of employees worldwide working at locations other than their corporate headquarters," Yugal Sharma, regional director, Polycom India and South Asia, said.

"Polycom RPX HD enables these executives to enjoy the same meeting experience as being seated in the same room, but without enduring the time, stress and cost associated with travel," he said.

Available in a number of seating configurations from eight to 28 people, the Polycom RealPresence Experience solutions are symmetrically designed modular rooms featuring immersive HD sound, enabled through integrated ceiling microphones, acoustic wall panelling, high-fidelity stereo equipment and Polycom SirenT 22 kHz StereoSurroundT sound technology.

Polycom RPX solutions are available through Polycom channel partners in India. Complete room solution pricing starts at $249,000 for a Polycom RPX 204.

Waste of money in deploying such expensive solutions when the same experience can be achieved by low cost HD systems by companies like Lifesize.
