News Flash: ‘Love’ bug hits Indian cos. badly

The `I Love You' bug, which forced network administrators to shut down e-mail systems at major companies worldwide, made its impact on the Indian companies also. According to an anti-virus distributor, the virus has affected around 20 companies in Bangalore itself. Out of this, around 16 companies are IT companies, half of which are supposed to be major comanies.

According to another version, coming from a networking company, the virus has affected almost all the companies weather major or small companies in India. The company official said that the virus automatically forwards the mails to all those who are mentioned in the mailing list of the account that receives the mail first. He claimed that he had alraady received around 20 "I Love You" mails.
