The solution provider has launched Solidcore 2 and Solidcore Embedded products based on its change management technology called 'solidification' that promises to change the way networks handle unauthorized code.

According to Rix Kramlich, executive vice president of marketing at Solidcore, their solutions can protect servers, PCs, storage arrays, switches and cell phones preventing unauthorized code to run and by locking out unauthorized changes to runtime environments that could inhibit compute performance.

"Solidification flips the traditional security model on its head," Kramlich said. "We identify the known good and let that run at the exclusion of everything else."
