Netmagic launches Web Security Service

MUMBAI, INDIA: Netmagic Solutions today announced the launch of its web security service, WebControl.

The service will be powered by Zscaler and will be offered to large enterprises and SMBs. Netmagic’s WebControl service will enable organizations to safeguard end users against web 2.0 threats and also monitor and control internet usage, a company release said.

The release said that the solution will be offered as a SaaS model the service will have 7 security and management modules that will offered as a suite or can be bought a-la-carte. The solution addresses all combinations of customer pain points arising from growing adoption of the web as a mode of conducting business and users being continuously exposed to malicious content. Being a cloud-based solution, it provides highly scalable and location agnostic security and protects road warriors who till now have been the weak link in the security chain. As a true multi-tenant SaaS solution, WebControl does not require any investment in hardware and software, customers can simply subscribe to the service based on their number of users and pay as they use.
