Netmagic is also the first service provider in the world to be certified for CSA STAR Cloud Capability Maturity Model (CCM) version 3.0.1. This further strengthens Netmagic’s commitment to deliver cloud computing solutions that facilitate interoperability, portability, and security for various enterprise end user scenarios.

“We pursued the certification as part of our ongoing commitment to provide the highest possible levels of cloud security and compliance. This certification places us at par with international standards and reinforces our adherence to best cloud security practices, facilitating a secure working environment for enterprises in India,” said Sharad Sanghi, Managing Director & CEO, Netmagic, an NTT Communications Company.

As a cloud service provider, Netmagic understands the importance of protecting its customers’ information – particularly as per a British Standards Institution (BSI) research which shows that 51% of organizations are reluctant to migrate to the cloud due to concerns about data security flaws.

Besides the CSA STAR Certification, Netmagic Cloud Services are already compliant and certified with other global standards – Information Security Management System - ISO/ IEC 27001:2005, IT Service Management - ISO 20000-1: 2011, Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2008 and SAP-Certified Provider of Cloud and Hosting Services. It also holds the unique distinction of being the only service provider in Asia to have a datacenter inside a stock exchange.
