According to Netgear, it is planning to carry out the work in two phases – in the first phase it would launch service centers across seven major business cities namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

In the second phase the focus would be on B and C-class cities, said a press release.

The service centers will support the entire range of Netgear products sold in India, in terms of addressing replacement and warranty issues and would also cater to replacements of products within 24- 48 hours.

Atul Jain, Country Manager, Netgear Technologies Pvt. Ltd, said, “By opening the service centres, we have enabled our distributors and channel partners to focus more on the business in the markets where we begin centres.” This would also enhance the confidence of the customers on Netgear products, he added.

“By virtue of the fact that Netgear holds the number 1 position (30 per cent market share) in SMB wireless business and No. 3 in wired business, as documented by IDC, customer satisfaction is very critical for us,” said Kerman Rana, Managing Director, Central Asia Pacific, Netgear.
