Netflix' Internet TV network is now available in more than 130 new countries around the world including India. While largely available in English in most new countries, Netflix today added Arabic, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese to the 17 languages it already supports.

Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings said, “From today onwards, we will listen and we will learn, gradually adding more languages, more content and more ways for people to engage with Netflix.”

Netflix might add more local content in all its overseas markets along with its original and Hollywood content to expand its subscribers base. It will be interesting to watch how they strike a balance between the Hollywood and Bollywood contents in India.

Netflix launched its streaming service in 2007 and has expanded globally to include 60 countries including Canada, countries in Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
