Net4 opens new subsidiary in Singapore

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Communication service provider Net4 India Ltd IP today announced the opening of its newly formed subsidiary Net4 Singapore Pte Ltd.

Also, Net4 has been awarded with the Service-Based Operator (SBO) license in Singapore, the first Indian company to get this license.

According to the license, the company will now be able to support a range of enhanced retail and wholesale VoIP business.

The new division headquartered in Singapore, aims to create a proactive, customer-facing organization and to manage the wholesale VOIP business from Singapore for its international market, Net4 said in a release.

Net4 will establish a new PoP in Singapore for VoIP-related services that include International Calling Card Service (ICC), Toll Free Services, IP Telephony Services, VPN Voice/data services.

This adds further value to the strong product portfolio that Net4 carries already.

Jasjit Sawhney, chairman and CEO, Net4, said, “By creating a subsidiary in Singapore and acquiring the license we are taking a step forward in executing one of the company’s growth strategies of significantly increasing our wholesale VoIP business. Further, the expansion of our international network is critical for the company’s growth plans.”
