Campus Management has been in India for the past six years and has been closely associated with NIIT in the field of education. But according to Loomer, now the corporations' partnership with NIIT is getting separated in a phase-wise manner.

Further, the Florida headquartered company had acquired Talisma, the CRM application solution provider in 2008.

“We are doubling our investments in India for research and development (R&D) and the current spend is about 20 per cent of the total revenue. We would hire about 80 people for development in IT and are relocating our resources from Delhi to special economic zone (SEZ) in Bangalore,” Loomer informed.

In the US, Campus Management has a 600-strong workforce, while in India about 200 people are working in the company.

As a result of the high acceptance of Talisma’s CRM application globally, Loomer opined the Campus Management’s name could be changed to Talisma; however he was not sure when the name change will happen.

According to Loomer, Campus Management’s ERP application would be offered under Talisma’s name as he found that Talisma is very well known to Indian people and also opined the possibility of bundling CRM and ERP applications.

Moreover, the company’s revenue grew by 31 per cent and the growth rate rose by 61 per cent year on year (Y-o-Y) basis during its financial year 2008-09 that ended in June this year.
