NCR names new regional VP for South APAC

NEW DELHI, INDIA: NCR Corporation, a provider of IT services today announced the appointment of David Miller as regional vice president, South Asia Pacific (SAPAC).

He would be responsible for NCR’s sales and marketing across the SAPAC region, and growing market share for NCR’s full range of products and services. He would be based in Singapore and report to Peter Leav, senior vice president of NCR's Global Sales organisation, said a press release.

“David is an experienced sales executive with extensive area of knowledge and will lead SAPAC by delivering profitable revenue growth across both our core and new industry segments”, said Peter Leave.

“David’s combination of more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience and extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific constituencies reflects NCR’s commitment to building a customer-focused organisation,” he added.

Miller joins NCR Corporation from Lenovo Group, where he was president of Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, Lenovo Asia Pacific grew profit over 45 per cent and emerged to vie for a market leading position. He also has experience in regional roles at Dell and Wyle Labs.

Miller takes over from Delton Yuen, vice president for NCR’s Business Strategy and Development for NAPAC region, who was leading NCR’s SAPAC region on an interim basis, the release added.
