National conference on SW usability

BANGALORE: Being organized by ACM-chartered CHI South India and sponsored by Cognizant Technology Solutions, Easy5 is an annual national conference on software usability to be held at Taj Residency, Bangalore on Jan 21st, 2005.







The conference is useful for usability specialists, Web designers, software developers, software testers, and quality assurance professionals.





This is the 5th fifth round of this annual national conference. This year, US usability experts, Mark Rettig and Jenna Date will be key speakers at the conference. They will be speaking on topics key to the current Indian scenario. Marc Rettig will speak on "Case studies in interaction design" and " Translating user research into interaction design." Jenna Date will speak on "Establishing usability practice in software companies." Besides the speakers, Easy5 will have about four papers presented by Indian professionals.
