Mumbai blasts hamper mobile networks

BANGALORE: Four bomb blasts in Mumbai had brought down the mobile network in the city temporarily. The mobile network was restored at about 14:00 PM after it went down at 13:30 PM.

Although the mobile network was restored, the market will take a longer time as the Sensex crashed more than 130 points, hour after the blasts ending the bull-run it had enjoyed for the past couple of weeks. The tech stocks crashed 30 points today after helping the market's sensitive index to cross the 4,100 barrier last week.

The four blasts, between 13:00 and 13:30, were near the historic Gateway of India, Zaveri Baazar, Pydhonie and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation office. Atleast 12 persons are feared dead.
