MTNL unveils Lofty Tab priced at Rs. 3,999

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has today unveiled 3G-enabled Lofty Tab. Manufactured by Teracom, the new tablet is available in three variants for a price of Rs 3,999; Rs 6,499; and Rs 10,999. These new devices are powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The premium model TZ100 comes with built-in SIM card slot and 7-inch multi-touch capacitive screen. The mid-level model TZ200 facilitates Wi-Fi connectivbity and has 4GB external storage (expandable upto 32GB).

The entry-level tablet TZ300, the company said, offers value-for-money and has 3000mAH battery life. MTNL CMD AK Garg said that they have thoroughly tested these tablets and feel that their customers would like new products.

All the three tablets will be available across all the MTNL Sanchar Haats. Mukesh Arora, Teracom chairman and managing director, said that they are offering the best device available in their peer group and said that they are committed to deliver smart tablet PC at affordable price points.
