Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will co-market DRC’s DecisionMaker Suite, a comprehensive policy administration solution, with MphasiS’ implementation services, allowing carriers to better manage their core technology systems and provide extensive options for long term support, said a press release.

DRC’s DecisionMaker Suite is a modular, fully integrated end-to-end solution, comprising quote, policy, rating, billing and claims which enables clients to acquire and manage large volumes of insurance policies on one central platform. The technologically robust suite is already in use at a number of household named insurers for personal, commercial, and specialty lines.

The alliance will cover co-marketing of each other’s products and services to new customers and markets and will initially focus on the expansion of each company’s client base.

“As part of MphasiS’ continued growth, we recently restructured to be more vertically aligned and focus more effectively on customer needs. We’re extremely excited about this partnership with DRC, as it enables us to grow our presence within the insurance industry and offer a more comprehensive range of pre-built, configurable solutions for our clients,” said Ganesh Pai, senior vice president and head of insurance and mature geographies at MphasiS.

He added that combining the breadth and depth of MphasiS’ insurance expertise with DRC’s product suite will allow them to deliver functionally rich solutions. As insurers are increasingly looking at replacing or transforming their existing core systems, they are confident their partnership will provide a compelling joint value proposition to their customers.

Karen Yamamoto, president of DRC, said “With the improved global economic outlook and the heightened interest in DRCs product offerings in the US and abroad, this is a perfect time for DRC to strengthen its existing alliance with one of the world’s leading Applications, BPO and Outsourcing providers”.
