MphasiS opens centre in Gujarat for Airtel

BANGALORE, INDIA: Bharti Airtel along with MphasiS, an EDS, HP company, announced the launch its new call centre located at Spencer Mall, Genda Circle, Vadodara.

This centre would be equipped with 400 seats and grow to 800 seats and have 2500 people within the next12 months. The agents have been specially trained in linguistic, soft skills and call handling techniques to deliver unparalleled experience to the customers. This will be an extension of the call centre in Ahmedabad.

Milind Godbole, CDO MphasiS, BPO, said: “The opening of our Vadodara centre, is in keeping with our strategy to grow beyond the metro cities and tap local talent here. Initially we will leverage this centre to service the rapidly developing Indian market, providing services to domestic clients. The Vadodara centre further strengthens our operations in Gujarat and will learn from the best practices adopted in our successful centre in Ahmedabad.:
