BANGALORE, INDIA: Mozilla is bringing out its own mobile operating system in a bid to counter giants like Google Android, Samsung Bada and the Microsoft Windows Phone operating systems. The Mozilla mobile/smartphone operating system is expected to hit markets by the beginning of 2013.

This operating system is widely anticipated to be the next big thing by industry insiders who also state that Mozilla has incorporated some of the latest, never-before seen functionality on the platform which users will find really interesting.

You can also expect HTML5- based apps on smartphones running the Mozilla Firefox operating system. Various smartphone manufacturers have already evinced interest in the development of their own version of the Firefox OS based smartphones. The competition among these manufacturers has also grown intensely.

Apart from these, the Mozilla Firefox OS will also provide excellent support for Bluetooth, camera in a smartphone and will even enable the users to make best use of the Near Field Communication technique. All these aspects seem to be sufficient to take the digital world by storm in 2013.
