The imminent release of Yellowfin 7 and its mobile report authoring capabilities complements the recent launch of Yellowfin's new native iPad application for Mobile BI. The new app, released in October, was restyled in line with Apple's iOS 7 look-and-feel, incorporating Storyboard, which is Yellowfin's interactive PowerPoint-like presentation and collaboration module for BI content.

The iPad application is available for free download from Apple's App Store and comes as part of a standard Yellowfin license. Yellowfin offers customers the ability to receive mobile analytics out-of-the-box, on any device or platform at no additional cost, via native applications for the iPhone, iPad, hybrid HTML 5 application for Android devices or Web-browser.

Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie said: "Not only will Yellowfin 7 enable users to consume content remotely via a beautiful new interface, they'll also be able to create brilliant new analysis on-the-fly whenever and wherever needed. This allows users to explore their data, unearth new insights in an instant, and effortlessly share that knowledge with their peers, all via the mobile device of their choice."
