MindTree unveils trade promotion soln on Azure

BANGALORE, INDIA: MindTree Limited, a global IT and Product Engineering Services company, on Wednesday announced the launch of mPromo, a trade promotion solution on the Microsoft Azure platform for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.

mPromo helps CPG organizations in managing and measuring trade promotion activities, while delivering insights for greater ROI on promotion investments, said a press release.

The new solution, allows organizations to easily administer promotions in developed and emerging markets for both modern trade and multi-level general trade. It also helps CPG companies manage all critical processes involved in trade promotions including budgeting, planning, execution, claims management, reporting and analytics.

Using a SaaS-based model, mPromo allows customers to only pay for the features they use at a point in time, reducing hardware and software investment requirements.

According to him, mPromo leverages their expertise in analytics, cloud computing and knowledge of the CPG industry. “It enables CPG companies to adopt best practices faster and realize increased ROI from promotional spending regardless of the market or trade format.”

By offering an exhaustive set of promotions types, mPromo ensures all your promotion spends are planned, tracked and analyzed. The solution also offers automated claims management, which reduces settlement time from weeks to days, while decreasing the risk of fraudulent claims.

Built in statistical analytics, it provides the ability to predict the outcome of a promotion for planning purposes, as well as a true understanding of the ROI once it is executed. mPromo also offers an On Call Analytics option, which allows business users to contact a dedicated analytical team of CPG specialists and statisticians at any time for advice.

The mPromo solution is now available on the Microsoft Azure platform, which ensures availability of greater than 99.95 percent, while providing a robust architecture with proven security features, the company claimed.

mPromo integrates seamlessly with downstream systems including ERPs, distribution management systems and other enterprise applications.
