Working with TI in areas including wireless communications, consumer electronics, and automotive and medical technologies, MindTree has been chosen for its exemplary performance spanning Cost, Environmental Responsibility, Technology, Responsiveness, Assurance of Supply, and Quality.

"The goal of the Supplier Excellence Award is to recognize suppliers who make significant contributions to TI's business success through outstanding performance and continuous improvement in providing goods or services," said Bruce Allen, Engineering Services Procurement Manager, TI. "MindTree has excelled in all aspects of delivery and quality, and demonstrated clear value to TI's business goals through differentiated offerings and focus on frameworks and IP. We are pleased to bestow them with this honor."

"It is heartening to know that we are the first Indian company to receive this honor from an esteemed and longstanding customer like TI," said MindTree Executive Chairman, Ashok Soota. "What differentiates MindTree is our relentless focus on customers. This award is further evidence of MindTree's strong position as a midsize alternative to the larger offshore

service providers."

MindTree's relationship with TI started in 2003, and it includes system-on-chip development, embedded software, reference design development and testing. In addition, TI leverages MindTree's short-range wireless intellectual property (IP) to provide compelling solutions for end customers across multiple industry verticals. The two companies also collaborate on programs under which MindTree can implement specific technologies on TI platforms to expand the customer base of each company.

"This award reflects our ability to understand TI's needs and work with them to develop high-quality solutions across multiple areas ranging from medical electronics and short-range wireless connectivity to multimedia applications," said MindTree President and Group CEO, Product Engineering Services, S Janakiraman.
