MindTree, Ariba tie up for B2B e-com solutions

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based MindTree Consulting, an e-business consulting company and US-based Ariba Inc., B2B e-commerce platform provider, have signed an agreement to provide e-commerce solutions jointly. According to the agreement, both the companies will collaborate to provide business-to-business commerce software, network services and system integration services.



MindTree will become a certified Ariba Systems Integrator of the Ariba B2B commerce platform. Speaking on the same, Krishnakumar Natarajan, Vice-Chairman and President of MindTree Consulting said, "As a certified Ariba Systems Integrator partner, MindTree Consulting helps clients derive significant business benefit from Ariba solutions. For example, by providing employees with easy-to-use, browser-based access to the goods and services required for their work, businesses could aggregate all corporate purchases and direct them to preferred suppliers at pre-negotiated volume prices. This approach eliminates expensive off contract buying and the higher volumes generated with existing suppliers can lead to more favorable contract pricing."



Commenting on this tie-up, Mukesh Aghi, Managing Director, Ariba Asia Pacific, said, "Ariba is pleased to have MindTree Consulting as an system integration partner for implementing our solutions. Ariba B2B commerce platform includes; Ariba Buyer, Ariba Marketplace and Ariba Dynamic Trade.
