Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, co-founders of OpenAI, have taken on executive roles to lead a pioneering AI research team at Microsoft. Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella announced on Monday at X which is formerly known as Twitter.

The announcement follows after OpenAI’s board decided to hire former Twitch president Emmett Scheer as its new CEO despite investor preference for Sam Altman, who has been in charge since 2015. Who is a co-founder, should be put back in charge and was fired.
