Microsoft, Infosys to offer cloud-based services

BANGALORE, INDIA: Software service major Infosys has announced a tie-up with technology major Microsoft to provide cloud-based services to clients, says a report on The Economic Times.

The report also adds: 'Infosys will offer Microsoft Private Cloud solutions such as Windows Server Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center, and solutions on Windows Azure to clients'.

The companies plan to take the solutions to global clients, beginning with those in seven geographies, including US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Middleeast and India, adds the report.
