Microsoft awards TechGyan

MUMBAI, INDIA: Microsoft has awarded Mumbai-based solution provider Suresh Ramani, CEO, TechGyan with the MVP award (Most Valuable Professional) for Windows Small Business Server, a solution designed for companies with less than 75 PCs. Ramani is one of the two MVPs in India, the other one being from Dell. The award bestowed upon Ramani in view of his contribution in spreading awareness around networking solutions to technical communities worldwide.

An elated Ramani shared, “I have always been spreading awareness around the networking solutions at my free will. As well as enhancing my profile, the award has also given me a sense of responsibility now.”

Microsoft presents the MVP Award to thank individuals for their exceptional contributions to technical communities worldwide. Microsoft also benefits from engaging with MVPs through conferences, user groups, code camps, the MVP Global Summit, and other events. MVPs share their independent, real-world feedback with the company, thereby helping Microsoft to better understand users' needs, improve current products, and develop future technology.

Ramani has over 17 years of experience in technology services and is a consultant to many SMB companies. In 2007, Microsoft had recognized Ramani as the Partner Area Lead (PAL) for India for his efforts around community building. Worldwide there are 20 PALs that are recognized by Microsoft.
