BANGALORE, INDIA: Micromax today said it be launching the new Superfone Ninja 2 A56 which will be a improved version of Superfone Ninja.

The new device will be priced priced at Rs. 5,999 according to an company announcement. However, the official release date for this device is yet to be announced.

Superfone Ninja 2 A56 will be an dual-SIM phone powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor, sports 512MB of ROM along with 256MB of RAM. The battery is a 1400 mAh and the phone also has Wi-Fi connectivity. It has an operating system of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It also comes with a set of pre-installed apps.

The body has two interchangeable red and yellow back panels which are included with the phone. It has a 3 MP rear facing camera and a 3.5-inch display of HVGA resolution. Its memory is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD.

Micromax has brought a iPhone Siri-like voice assistant, 'AISHA' or Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant. This feature made its debut on the previous Micromax Superfone Ninja A50. Through the feature of voice commands it can open a map, search the web and dial numbers. It also allows people to update their status on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
