Micromax launches Android 4.0 Funbook Alpha tablet

BANGALORE, INDIA: After the launch of the Funbook Pro tablet, Micromax has now come up with Funbook Alpha, a seven-inch tablet, at Rs.6000.

The tablet that runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) bears similarity to the original Funbook tablet. It utilizes an ARM Cortex-A8 CPU at 1 GHz with 512 MB of DDR3 RAM. Its 7-inch multi-touch screens has 800x480 pixels.

Micromax Funbook Alpha helps you balance your work and play with ease as it is preloaded with study material and endless entertainment options, according to Micromax official page.

The tablet that doesn't have an in-built radio or GPS, offers standby memory of nine hours and talk time of five hours.

1 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU with dual Mali-400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM.

Android 4.0 (ICS) with support for Google Play.

0.3 mp front camera with video recording.

4 GB internal storage, 32 GB microSD card slot.

Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 with support for 3G dongles, Bluetooth not supported.
