Experian’s Micromarketer is currently used by over 500 organisations across the world to support tactical and strategic decision-making in a range of commercial and public sector applications. Micromarketer Generation 3 is available on desktop PC, via a network or over the Internet and represents a fundamental re-development by Experian’s Business Strategies’ division.

Micromarketer Generation 3 incorporates Experian’s vast and unique portfolio of socio-demographic, economic forecasting, local market, retail location and cartographic data and is delivered via the latest GIS mapping technology. It also includes access to Experian’s international network of the Mosaic consumer segmentation system, which classifies over a third of the world’s population and is now available in 25 countries.

Key benefits of Micromarketer Generation 3 are, it provides accurate geographical analysis and data interrogation - by combining the latest GIS technology with a new intelligent data retrieval engine. Its dynamic database structure makes it easy to store and maintain information.

It also provides connections to other relational database sources using OLEDB or ODBC. The application is directly compatible with industry standard applications, including Oracle, MS Access, MS SQL Server, Business Objects and SPSS.
