MeritTrac appoints Prasanna K as CFO

BANGALORE: Skills assessment company MeritTrac Services Pvt. Ltd has appointed Prasanna K as its chief financial officer.

In this newly created position Prasanna will be responsible for financial strategy formulation, guiding the senior management on various finance related aspects and ensuring prudent cash management.

Welcoming the new CFO, Madan Padaki, Co-Founder and Director, MeritTrac Services said, “Prasanna brings with him a rich suite of experience in financial processes and diverse exposure gained through stints across sectors. He has this uncanny knack of blending traditional processes to dynamic, people-oriented businesses. He would be a key member of the management team which would drive the next level of growth for MeritTrac Services.”

A product of REC (Suratkal), Prasanna went on to acquire a management qualification and is Chartered Financial Analyst. He has held senior positions with companies like Indalco, Dalmia Cements, JobsAhead &Information Technology Park Limited.

At ITPL, he was instrumental in the restructuring of ITPL post the acquisition of TATA's stake by Ascendas. He was also a visiting faculty at ICFAI business school and occasionally writes on finance in leading web portals.
