McAfee's consumer security software in India

MUMBAI: McAfee, Inc. today announced the launch of its new 2006 versions of security products in India.

The products have been designed to combat the widening threats to home PC

security posed by identity thieves, e-mail "phishing" scams, viruses,

potentially unwanted programs, such as spyware and Trojans.

The products will be available through leading retailers and for download at

the McAfee web site.

The 2006 consumer security software product range being launched in India

will include the award-winning McAfee VirusScan, McAfee Personal

Firewall Plus, McAfee AntiSpyware, McAfee SpamKiller, McAfee

Privacy Service, and McAfee QuickClean.
