Mascon sets up NGN Lab in Bangalore

BANGALORE: Mascon Global Limited (MGL), a telecom and IT services company, inaugurated its Next Generation Networks (NGN) lab at its Bangalore centre.

Alejandro Ferreiro, Minister of Trade and Commerce, Republic of Chile inaugurated the lab. He was accompanied by a senior Chilean Government delegation.

Sandy Chandra, chairman, MGL, said, “With an initial investment of five million dollars, lab will develop end-to-end cost effective solutions for core networks, access networks and terminal equipments. This will also enable us to develop applications to serve enterprise communication requirements”.

“Chile will be one of the strategic locations for MGL to serve Americas and we are committed to build a strong customer base in Chile and Latin America in the areas of Consulting, IT and telecom services along with healthcare, e-governance, e-education, and e-commerce. We are exploring the possibilities of setting up a near shore centre in Chile in the near future,” Chandra added.

Speaking on the occasion, Alejandro Ferreiro, said, “Chile is attracting considerable attention as an established technology and business centre in the LatAm region due to its network of free trade agreements with a number of countries right from the US to China. MGL is making significant foray in to every emerging market across the globe.”
