Marlabs organises workshop on MS technologies

BANGALORE, INDIA: Marlabs, a provider of innovative IT services, on Thursday announced that its Microsoft Center of Excellence (CoE) has conducted a workshop on emerging Microsoft (MS) technologies today at its Bangalore premises.

Titled 'ReImagine', the internal workshop focused on updating participants on the latest developments in Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure), Windows 8 Runtime (WinRT) and Windows Phone 7.1 (Mango) Development, said a press release. 

The workshops also covered emerging web technologies including HTML5 and new age JavaScript frameworks.

The event showcased Marlabs' continued focus on expanding its Microsoft competency in MS cloud offerings, and emerging user experience platforms that are synced with the cloud. The company is focusing on building connected ecosystems on top of the cloud.

Marlabs is focusing on building synchronization services across cloud and web/mobile applications. The upcoming release of Windows 8 will see increased offering from Microsoft for tablets and touch devices, and this event is a boots trapper for the same, the company claimed.

“We are focusing on the cloud and building a solid service stack on top of the same, enabling customers to build connected applications leveraging our service container. As part of this effort, we are focusing on building new age user experiences on top of these cloud services,” says Anil Raghavan, chief delivery officer, Marlabs.

“Our focus in this event is on re-imagining the user experience in a connected eco system, and to ensure our offerings enable our customers to build new age, connected user experiences across devices — enabling cloud and all the screens.”
