Maples to add 200 seats

HYDERABAD: Maples ESM Technologies Ltd, an Enterprise System Management (ESM) services provider, has announced expansion of its operations at Hyderabad. Maples started its operations at Hyderabad in September 2003, and has now scaled up its operations from 80 seats to 200 seats and moved to a 5000 sq ft space.

According to the press release, incorporated in 2002, Maples has set-up up the world's most advanced — ESM competency center in Chennai and satellite centers in Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Australia and UAE, Bahrain with an upfront investment of Rs nine crore.

It offers high end training programs for both corporate and individuals. The consulting division of Maples specializes in ESM (IT infrastructure management) and core competence in remote management of data centers.

Maples ESM chairman & CEO Ram Subramani said, “We offer courses in enterprise networking, mainframe application programming, systems administration, network management and soft skills”.

He further added, “We have trained and placed 653 students in the last 12 months with leading MNCs with an average salary levels of Rs 15,000 to Rs 38,000. Our students have found placements in MNC's like HSBC, Covansys, Xansa, etc.”

In the financial year ending March 2004, Maples turnover was Rs 8.60 crore with a PAT of Rs 2.87 crore. The company aims to achieve $ five million turnover for the FY 2004-05 with the current order book. However, Maples has aggressive plans to cross $ 10 million by merger and acquisitions in USA and UK and are targeting IBM mainframe related project companies.
