A press release adds that TransTech Systems provides a wide variety of extended warranty and out-of-warranty service programs. These programs frequently cover ID card printers and credential issuing systems. The on-site service and maintenance programs are also provided in cooperation and collaboration with TransTech’s local and regional channel partners.

“We were originally requested to assist CDCR in implementing the SICS systems when the contractor who had won the original bid filed bankruptcy mid-project and was unable to complete it,” said Jim Gingo President of TransTech Systems, Inc. “The fact that CDCR has continued to use our service packages over multiple years and several generations of equipment is a testimony to the State’s confidence in our service abilities.” The current contract covers CDCR’s fiscal year 2010/2011. TransTech has now been servicing CDCR systems for 10 years.
