The company claims that it is the first exclusive show-room for laptops and LCD monitors in Narasinga-puram Street of Chennai.

NJ Sai Murali of Magnum Computers shared, “Till now, we were only playing the role of a sub-distributor, but with the opening of this outlet, we have also put forward our first step into retail business. For retail business, we have partnered with several vendors like Toshiba, HCL, Sony, Acer, Lenovo, Epson, Intex, Velkin, Samsung and HP. We are a volume partner for Lenovo, operational distributor for Epson, distributor for Intex, sub-distributor for Velkin, gold partner for Toshiba and regional distributor for HP.”

The company is also planning to sign-up with iMac from Apple, and has put in papers for the same.

“Our revenue figures have dipped down to 30-40 percent due to slowdown. Seeing the prospects of getting into retail, we have opened this showroom. If this showroom helps us earn good business, we will open two to three more such outlets in Chennai,” he shared, adding that his company will continue with the sub-distribution of IT products at the same time.
