When Linksys first started shipping wireless routers, it shipped about 100,000 each month. Today the company ships nearly one million wireless routers world wide on a monthly basis including Wireless-B, Wireless-G, Wireless A+G and Wireless-N Routers.

“Our wireless routers provide the platform of home networking, which enable applications beyond sharing Internet connections,” said Michael Pocock, Linksys senior vice president and general manager.

He added “The transition from Wireless-B to G to N has also enabled the ability for us to provide a rich multimedia experience for users to share photos, music, video, make phone calls, and move personal and professional content around the home to any connected device through a wireless connection.”
