LightSquared, InterGlobe sign multi-year LTE deal

NEW YORK, USA: 4G-LTE wireless broadband and satellite network provider LightSquared and business integrated service provider InterGlobe Communications, based in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania region, entered into a multi-year agreement.

As per the agreement, InterGlobe, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) with nearly 20 years of experience, will become a wholesale customer on LightSquared's 4G-LTE network.

"The partnership with LightSquared helps fulfill our commitment to provide customized solutions that are tailored to the very demanding needs of our clients," said Al Mayerhoff, president, InterGlobe Communications. "With access to LightSquared's 4G-LTE and satellite services, we have an opportunity to offer competitive mobile data service options that meet our clients' need for speed, mobility and network resiliency."

InterGlobe will add mobile data and satellite services to its range of business communications solutions that include VoIP, high-speed Internet, video teleconferencing and IP telephony services.
