LG launches Optimus 4X HD smartphone

BANGALORE, INDIA: LG Electronics has jumped into the smartphones quad-core processor bandwagon with the launch of its new Optimus 4X HD, along with three other Android based phones.

LG which intends to take Samsung Galaxy SIII with its flagship Optimus 4X HD, features a 4.7 inch True HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 resolution.

 Optimus 4X HD is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 processor (quad-core) clocked at 1.5GHz along with 1GB RAM and runs Android v4.0.

The phone has got a 8 megapixel camera that can shoot videos at 1080p, comes with 16GB internal storage and has a 2150 mAh battery.
