Lenovo offers 'peace of mind' to consumers

BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo is offering consumers ‘Peace of mind’ this May.

The offer is a free warranty upgrade from one year up to three years on select consumer PC offerings and is available on Lenovo IdeaPad Y510, the Y410 Snowmountain series and Lenovo IdeaCentre K200 desktop models.

The free upgrades vary from one to three years and in some instances from one to two.

To avail of this offer, customers need to buy the product and register at www.lenovo.com/in/summercarnival.

The offer is applicable on all purchases between April 15 and May

30, 2008.

Speaking about the initiative, Anil Philip, executive director, Transaction Business, Lenovo India said: “This service offer is another step in our objective to delight customers with a consistent experience of high-quality service and support. It is a first of its kind in the industry and is intended to provide a hassle-free ownership experience for our customers.”

Lenovo has also planned a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote the offer.

Lenovo has also announced a special student offer under which every student with a valid ID card is eligible to win a Puma Sports Kit over and above the regular warranty offer on purchase of a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 or Lenovo Snowmountain Y410.

To make the most out of referrals, Lenovo also has in store a 2GB USB flash drive for students who refer five friends. A Wi-Fi router and warranty leading to savings of nearly Rs 7,500 can also be won.
