BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo, has launched the ThinkPad 8 tablet for Indian professionals. The first Windows 8 tablet is equipped with a full-HD screen, Quick Photo Capture combined with 4x faster graphics.

This 8.3” tablet offers multimode features like a full Windows 8 ecosystem, 2MP front-facing webcam for crystal-clear video conferencing, supported by dual digital array microphones. This power-pack features offerings from Lenovo, Microsoft, and Intel combined into one productive, mobile, secure device with faster graphics. Weighing 430g, the tablet lasts up to eight hours on a single battery charge.

It also has 8MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and -flash and video recording. The Quick Shot Cover is an accessory where with a simple flick back, the corner flap exposes the lens, and the Windows 8.1 camera app opens automatically. Its magnetic cover is all the rage which attaches automatically to the tablet.

The Quick Shot Cover is strong so that you can easily flap the tablet around without the fear of it dropping. With high Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, ThinkPad 8 comes with micro HDMI-out port that allows easy connection to an HD television or other monitor.

Priced at Rs. 39,999, the ThinkPad Tablet 8 is now available for pre-order.
