The newly launched device is a successor to K6 Note and packs the Helio X23 chipset with a 2.3GHz high-performing deca-core processor and the Mali T-880 MP4 GPU.  The phone features a 5.5-inch full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass and with sunlight visibility. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with turbo charge. The K8 Note is splash resistant due to its P2i coating although the resistance might decrease with time due to wear and tear.

“We know that millennials expect nothing but the latest from their phones,” said Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Country Head, Lenovo Mobile Business Group, India. “Which is why the K8 Note comes packed with everything that our consumers would expect from a smartphone today - an eye-catching design, dual cameras, 10-core processor, great sound, and of course, the TheaterMax technology that is the hallmark of the Note series.  It is also the reason why we have brought pure Android to the Note series, ensuring that the user gets total control over the device and their experience,” he added.

The highlight of the Lenovo K8 Note is its dual camera setup, which comprises of a 13-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with a dual LED flash at the back.  The phone is capable of depth mode effects along with  1920 x 1080 px video capture. Also, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with a full light LED flash.

To enhance the media consumption experience, K8 Note comes with TheaterMax and Dolby Atmos. While TheaterMax feature is for content consumption via VR, Dolby Atmos app ensures that you get high-quality sound from your device. The device has a dedicated music key on the left, under the SIM card and microSD card slots which can be programmed to launch an app and control music playback.

The Lenovo K8 Note will be available starting Rs 12,999/- for 3GB+32 GB variant and Rs 13,999/- for 4GB+64 GB variant. Sale opens 18th August, 12 noon, exclusively on amazon.in.
