Lenovo launches G series notebooks

BANGALORE: Lenovo has launched the G series notebooks targeting at value-conscious consumers.

“Notebooks offering mobility and productivity at an affordable price are becoming a preferred choice for consumers looking to upgrade from desktops, to notebooks. With the Lenovo 3000 G Series, we are targeting a new set of value-conscious consumers and providing them one of our best engineered notebooks," said Anil Philip, executive director, Transaction Business, Lenovo India.

The G400 features Intel’s Pentium Dual-Core 2080 (1.73GHz, 533MHz FSB, 1MB) processor and comes with a 14.1” WXGA high definition widescreen display. Operating on DOS, the notebooks are equipped with Lenovo’s high touch full-sized keyboard, Thinkpad keyboard design, and trademark One Key Recovery, which allows users to easily recover data in the event of a crash.

The G400 is equipped with features including 4-in-1 memory card reader, a high speed 56K modem, wireless technology of Lenovo 802.11 bg and integrated Bluetooth v2.0. G400 is light weight (2.35kg) and has a battery life up to four hours with pre-loaded Energy Cut 2.1 software for effective power management.

The Lenovo G series notebooks are available in all Lenovo authorized storefronts at Rs 31,750.
