CIOL LeEco ushers in Ecosystem TV Era with the launch of its Super TVs in India

Global internet and technology conglomerate LeEco is launching its Super3 series Ecosystem TV –Super3 X55, Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 that supports 3D display in India.With this launch, LeEco is all set to redefine TV viewing experience for Indian users by bringing its best technologies at indisputably disruptive prices.

Following the US$ 2 billion acquisition of leading American TV maker Vizio a week back, LeEco is now making another significant move to expand its globally successful TV business.

"Today we’ve achieved a key milestone in our India journey. We are delighted to unveil our Super3 Series and believe that they will carve a niche in India, giving their unmatched specs and pricing. Our newly launched SuperTVs is a testimony to our commitment to bringing top-of-the-line devices and services to our users in India," said TinMok, Vice President of Le Holdings and CEO of LeEco Asia Pacific.

LeEco entered the Indian smartphone market earlier this year with their Superphones and has also launched its own e-commerce marketplace LeMall recently. With the launch of SuperTVs, LeEco has brought together key elements of its ecosystem model in India, including devices, content, applications and platform.

LeEco's Super TVs are packed with numerous features that will bring big changes for consumers in India. "Having been designed with future user scenarios of video, app, and game in mind, our Super TVs are future-proof, and are truly leaders among the majority of similarly configured products," said Atul Jain, COO of Smart Electronics Business at LeEco India.

At the center of the SuperTV series is LeEco’ eUI5.5 user interface that forms the core of LeEco’s product development philosophy. The Ecosystem UI brings with it the option of customization that shows different apps depending on the frequency of use. The TVs are equipped with LeEco's self-developed and renowned content-viewing apps such as Levidi, LIVE, LeView along with other tailor-made apps like Panosearch.

Some of the key highlights of the models include Quad-core Cortex A17 CPU, 4K Ultra HD display with 8.29 million pixels, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, MACE PRO4 picture processor and High-speed USB 3.0.

Making the user experience all the more comprehensible is LeEco's Super Remote Control 3.0. The four-direction navigation buttons help users easily access different applications and functions. Users can also use it as an air mouse or gamepad to control multiple devices connected to the SuperTV. Furthermore, users can also grab their LeEco Superphones and point to the SuperTVs to surf to whichever channel they want.

LeEco claims that their SuperTVs will change the way users consume content on televisions. All three SuperTVs will give access to one of the largest content libraries in India. Users can enjoy at least 2000 Full HD/HD films from Hollywood and Bollywood, more than 100 satellite TV channels, 3.5 million songs (coming soon by software upgrade), and more than 50live concerts.

With SuperTVs, users will also get access to a cloud storage space of 5TB with strict privacy protection so users can store pictures capturing memorable moments on the cloud and share them conveniently with family and friends.

LeEco’s SuperTVs come at pocket friendly prices.. Super3 X55 - 139.7 cm (55) will be available for Rs 59,790, LeEco Super3 X65 - 163.9 cm (65) is priced at Rs 99,790 and Super3 Max65– 163.9 cm (65) will come at a price of Rs 1,49,790. All three SuperTVs come with 2 years of VIP membership worth Rs 9,800.

Super TVs will be available to users through LeMall and Flipkart.
