LAVA launches Iris Pro 30+ smartphone

NEW DELHI, INDIA: LAVA International Limited, unveiled its Iris Pro 30+, an upgraded version of the Iris Pro 30 launched earlier this year in January.

Iris Pro 30+ is designed on the theme "We put the Art in Smart". The smartphone comes with a 4.7 inch HD (1280x720 pixels) IPS (312 PPI) display that offers crystal clear images and sharp colour reproduction.

The screen features OGS (one glass solution) that reduces the thickness. As was with the Iris pro 30, Iris Pro 30+ weighs 7.9 mm thickness and weighs 116 grams.

The fully laminated display and the screen is protected by the Asahi Dragontrail Glass that is considered to be six times stronger than normal glass.

The dual SIM LAVA Iris Pro 30+ runs on 1.5 Ghz Quad Core Processor (Mediatek 6589 turbo) and is powered by 1 GB RAM along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU clocked at 357 MHz.

It comes with 16 GB of internal storage (7.8 GB for applications and 5.5 GB for media content) that is expandable to 32 GB.

On the rear, Iris Pro 30 + sports a 13MP auto-focus camera. The camera comes with BSI II sensor having a size of 1/3.2 inch and 1.1 micron Omni BSI-II pixel architecture that helps capture excellent images in low-light.

It supports full HD (1080p) as well as HD (720p) video recording and playback. It comes with features like face detection, four-directional panoramic view and high-definition range (HDR). Additionally, there is a 3 MP camera on the front for 3G video calling support.

Iris Pro 30+ runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is 3G enabled and supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and OTG Connectivity. It is fuelled by a 2000 mAh battery that can provide ample talk time of 9 hours.

Besides, it also supports quad band (ability tofunction throughout the world) and is equipped with GMS license (Google mobile services).It also comes with inbuilt software functionalities of Flip to mute, face and voice unlock and video picture in picture.

Priced at Rs.11990, LAVA Iris Pro 30+ is available in black colour. The handsets are available for sale across all national retail stores and multi-brand outlets across India. Online, it will be exclusively available on Amazon.in bundled with a free 16GB memory card on 26th August.
