KPIT Cummins to open centre in Poland

PUNE: Pune-based KPIT Cummins is all set to make an international debut.

The company is in the process of setting up a development center in Broselow, Poland.

With this, KPIT Cummins will join the elite club of Indian companies that are opening centers in Poland, TCS, Zensar are the others.

“The Poland center will serve as near shore center for our European clients especially for those in Germany and others. In the next three years it will house around 500 people,” says Kishor Patil, CEO and managing director, KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd.

KPIT Cummins is a software solutions provider focused on the automotive and semiconductor sectors. It has development centers in Pune and Bangalore.

In addition to its existing facility, the company has also acquired another 20 acres in a SEZ in Pune and 2 lakh sq. feet in a Bangalore SEZ.

“These facilities will be utilized in the future for expansion of our operations. They should suffice for the next 2-3 years,” says Patil.
