Komodia announces Komodia PerPageSDK

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL: In an effort to provide an enhanced solutions for the software developer's community, Komodia today announced the release of Komodia PerPageSDK.

The release of the new Komodia PerPage SDK allows the classification of dynamic content into 140 categories. This allows the user to classify the following: Free text, such as search phrases, Tweets, chat messages, SMS, or other Non-HTML text and single non safe web page inside a safe web site

All that is changed with this new release which enables classifying a single web page and plain text which opens the door to exciting new functionality in many industries, from safe surfing experiences for children in sites with mixed content, to user targeted ads based on page content or analytics, said a company release.

Komodia reports that the SDK is written in C++ and can be deployed on a server or PC machine, with a small footprint, and can work with and without Komodia's Classification Services, and is also available in source code form. Another advantage of the client side SDK is that some pages are only available on the user's machine, for example: Facebook pages which have different content if the page is "Liked", or if accessing the public page version.

The release further added that with new SDK, the user can also block profanity, adult oriented messages, and other bad "themes". A single-page inside a website, such as blocking adult oriented pages inside Wikipedia and similar sites. A movie page on YouTube, or other popular streaming sites can be classified to block inadequate content.

In addition, pages on Facebook can be classified and unsuitable pages blocked. A user can classify a page in order to get the category for bidding on RTB and make sure the page adheres to ad safety regulations.

Komodia provides URL Filtering solutions which includes: PC based SDK to intercept network data and decrypt SSL sessions. Also makes available URL classification services both at the domain level and page level without requiring a long term contract or obligation from the client.

Komodia's classification server is a complementary service to Komodia's URL filtering SDKs and allows you to get the category of the site or a single web page - on the fly, which allows you to focus on developing your product rather then trying to figure out which sites to block or report, it can be used from our SDKs or your own proprietary solution.
