Kobian launches Mercury surveillance cameras

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Kobian has forayed into the surveillance camera market with the introduction of standalone surveillance cameras ranging from infrared CCDs to dome and DSP box cameras.



Sushmita Das, country manager, Kobian, said, “Security is a growing concern for everyone and very soon we shall be seeing the common man employing surveillance in their homes too. The quality of the camera is the most important feature in such products and the channel should educate the consumer regarding the same."

she further added, "Thus, at Kobian we ensure that all Mercury cameras whether in the DIY kits, combo or standalone cameras are using the latest technology lens and sensor, which shall give the optimum result to the consumer."

Mercury’s Espial surveillance products—DVR and DIY kits are fast gaining position in the security space. The DIY kit has the Mercury Espial DVR with true triplex functionality, which allows playback, record, display and network simultaneously.
