LAS VEGAS, USA: Kensington has announced the MiniSave - Mobile Lock, the industry's thinnest security lock system with the Kensington mini security slot technology- for use on ultra-thin mobile devices including Ultrabooks and tablets.

Featuring a new patented Cleat locking design with an incomparably small attach point, the MiniSaver delivers professional-grade strength to resist pulls and tampering in a space that is as small as a micro USB connector or audio jack.

The new MiniSaver has been developed to address the increasing security needs of mobile-device users in the workplace. According to IDC, as many as 155 million smartphones and almost four million tablets will be leveraged for business purposes in 2014. Further underscoring BYOD demand, as many as 53 percent of information workers today use three or more devices.

The MiniSaver Mobile Lock is a highly versatile security solution for on-the-go professionals who use ultra-thin, lightweight devices and need protection in the office, or while working on the road and in public places.
