Kensington unveils industry's thinnest security lock design for ultrabooks and tablets

LAS VEGAS, USA: Kensington has announced the MiniSave - Mobile Lock, the industry's thinnest security lock system with the Kensington mini security slot technology- for use on ultra-thin mobile devices including Ultrabooks and tablets.

Featuring a new patented Cleat locking design with an incomparably small attach point, the MiniSaver delivers professional-grade strength to resist pulls and tampering in a space that is as small as a micro USB connector or audio jack.

The new MiniSaver has been developed to address the increasing security needs of mobile-device users in the workplace. According to IDC, as many as 155 million smartphones and almost four million tablets will be leveraged for business purposes in 2014.
